We asked you what the most important feature in a mobile phone is. Here are your top choices!

Our mobile phone is our constant companion that aids us in both personal and professional use. Hence, it's often a tough decision when we have to choose one for ourselves. Do we go for the latest phone? Do we go for a large screen or small? Should we give preference to battery life or the phone's design? Many times, the answer will depend on our own usage patterns. And at times, our personal preference will take precedence.
In a poll on our social media channels, we asked you what the most important mobile feature was:

    - Screen size
    - Battery
    - Camera
    - Design
    - Display
    - Others

Here are your top three choices:

    1. Battery

We spend a lot of time using our phones, whether it involves chatting with friends on WhatsApp, playing games, watching funny cat videos on YouTube or responding to work emails. With such busy lifestyles and heavy data usage, battery life and quality can be of utmost importance.

And it seems that way from the responses of our poll as well, where majority of you said that battery was the most important feature in a mobile phone.

Don't we all want our phone's battery to last till the end of the day, despite how much we use it?

Samsung has been working to provide customers with devices powered by a strong battery and long battery life so that they can make the most of their phones and get more done. For instance, the latest flagship devices, Samsung Galaxy  Note 5 and S6 edge+, come with a 3000mAh battery and fast charging capabilities. The devices can go from zero to full in 90 minutes when charged with a cable.

Earlier this year, Samsung rolled out the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge with the ability to be charged wirelessly on a wireless charger pad. Now, the Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+ also offer the convenience of cordless charging with Samsung's latest wireless charger. You can fully charge your phone in 120 minutes by placing it on the charging pad. Charging on the go has also been simplified with valuable accessories, such as a sturdy and portable charger pack. It doubles up as a phone case and a wireless charger, so you can slide your device into it and power it up on the go.

    2. Camera

In this age of instant photos and dynamic selfies, many also cited the camera as one of the most important features. Digital cameras are great for amazing photographs, but we don't carry them everywhere, e.g. to work. Our mobile phones offer the convenience of taking photos anytime and anywhere. We can always reach out for them to capture spontaneous moments. With advancing technology, they also offer the opportunity to revisit memories through high-quality shots.
Samsung has been proactive in developing first-class cameras that deliver sharper photos. For instance, the Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+ are equipped with a 16MP rear camera to capture vivid shots and a 5MP front-facing camera for crystal clear selfies. The camera's advanced selfie technologies and range of effective filters ensure that the photos come out great.

    3. Design and display

Mobile phones are not only admired for their functionality, but for their aesthetic value as well. A phone is something that's always by your side – whether it's in the palm of your hand, on the tabletop while you work or on your bedside table while you sleep. It's only natural to want a device that is appealing to look at and hold. Possessing an eye-catching device is a treat of its own. Perhaps that's why many of you cited the device's design among the most important features.
While recognising consumers' eye for design, Samsung has been enhancing the look and feel of its devices. The exterior of both Samsung Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+ is an attractive fusion of metal and glass. Both phones also feature some form of a curved edge to add to the beauty and functionality of the devices. The curved rear edges of the Note5 give the phone a sleek finish, while the dual curved-edge display of the Galaxy S6 edge+ falls beautifully on the side, while offering consumers access to quick functions through the edge.
Another feature that was neck-to-neck with design was display. When it comes to media consumption, the quality of display can be extremely important. If you don't have time to sit back at home and watch TV, having the ability to watch something on the go in high quality can bring some relief. Even performing daily tasks on a solid display is easier than struggling with dim screens and flickering visuals. The Quad HD Super AMOLED display on Galaxy devices such as Note 4, Note5, S6, S6 edge and S6 edge+ offers a great visual experience – whether you are checking important messages in daylight or watching HD videos on the web.
